Janet Diane (nee Jones)
October 1, 1950 - June 25, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jan. Surrounded by family, Jan left us Sunday, June 25, as the result of a cardiac event. Janet was born in Trail, BC, moved to Creston at age 12 and became a resident of Maple Ridge in her late teens. Left to mourn are her husband Gary, nieces Cynthia and Debra and a wide circle of family and friends. Jan will be remembered as a woman of great intelligence, compassion and integrity, both in her decades-long work as a realtor and as a tireless advocate for the rights of local citizens.
A memorial celebration will be held at 2pm on July 12th at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Hwy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
