May 3, 1943 - February 9, 2024
Jennifer passed away at home in Maple Ridge on Thursday, February 9 after a lengthy struggle with debilitating post-polio syndrome.
After graduating from UBC as a secondary school teacher in 1966, she taught grades 1 to 12 and first year college in five BC school districts including neighbouring Coquitlam from which she retired in 2001.
Jennifer's many interests included writing, teaching Sunday school, training small animals, and co-organizing school musical productions.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband John, son Stephen (Toronto), daughter-in-law Angela (Toronto), granddaughter Isla Rose (Toronto), and brother John Lindal (Fallbrook, California). She leaves behind three cousins and numerous friends.
A memorial service for Jennifer is planned for Saturday, June 22 at 2:00 pm at Haney Presbyterian Church, 11858 216th Street, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 5H8.
