June (Hamilton) Rodgers passed away on Feb 29th, 2024 after a brief illness surrounded by her family. June was born on June 30th, 1948 in New Westminster, BC. She was raised and brought up her family in Maple Ridge, retiring to the beautiful Sunshine Coast with her beloved husband Dale.
She finished her working career owning and operating Black Bear Brewing in Maple Ridge. June found joy in crocheting, a passion she generously shared with her family, friends & acquaintances through handmade hats, scarves, blankets and much more.
June was predeceased by her parents, Betty (2020) & Eric (2003).
She is survived by her loving husband Dale, her sister Brenda (Kevin) Williams, Daughter Lisa (Rob) Henderson & Son Shane (Jodie) Marshall, a grandson she loved dearly Quinton, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
The celebration of June's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Maple Ridge Branch #088, 12101 - 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 6B7 on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
