Larry's long goodbye came to an end May 25, 2006. He died peacefully and gracefully with family and loving friends at his side. He leaves behind his soul mate of 56 years, Pat; his 4 children, Lori Whitlock (Ron), Gordon (Jean), Lorne (Michele), Maureen Beechinor (Kelly), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Larry was a loving man, dedicated to family and friends and deeply committed to his faith. A resident of Penticton since 1953, he was actively involved with community service including the Kinsmen Club, Charter President of Skaha Rotary, School Trustee and most importantly to him, a leadership role in the Anglican Church. A Celebration of Larry's life will be held at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, 150 Orchard Ave., Penticton on Friday, June 2nd at 1:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimers Society of BC, 104-35 Westminster Ave. E., Penticton, B.C., V2A 1H7.
