EDWARDS
Lidia Louise Edwards (nee Pellegrin), peacefully and surrounded by family as the sun rose over the mountains on Sunday, January 18, 2009. Born July 10, 1945, Lidia spent her childhood in Castlegar before moving to the coast for university and a life teaching elementary school in the Lower Mainland. She lived with muscular dystrophy and a fighting spirit. Survived by Mel, her loving husband of 41 years, sister Cathy (Ron), brothers Arv and Lorne (Marg), sons Sean (Renee) and Bryce (Elisa), beloved grandchildren Felicity, Austin and Sebastian, and many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Service and lunch this Thursday, January 22, 1 p.m. at Maple Ridge Alliance Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada.
