It is with much sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lisa while she was vacationing in Cancun, Mexico.
Lisa was a sister, an auntie, a loyal friend, companion and community volunteer. Lisa was a valued member of this community. Lisa was a member of the Ridge Meadows Association,a volunteer at the ECRA Centre for 20 years, employed at Ridge Meadows Recycling Society for over 10 years and was an accomplished Special Olympics athlete where she bowled and swam competitively. It was through Lisa’s involvement in the community where she met her most dearest and cherished friends.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents Mitchel and Beverly Kozlik and remembered them fondly. Lisa will be remembered with love by her brothers Tony (Colleen), Mark (Kim) and nephews Kevin, Mitchel and niece Emily. A heartfelt thank you to Kim and family, her dearest friends Janet and Carol and to ALL those who made Lisa's life as rich as it was.
A Celebration of Lisa's life will be held at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 11969 - 216 Street on Thursday December 18th, 2008 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lisa’s memory to the Special Olympics.
