BRUNEAU, Lucille (nee Senecal)

Sept. 23, 1929 ~ Sept. 30, 2010

Lucille left us suddenly after a very brief illness. Her six children, their spouses, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren sorely miss her. Her beloved husband Roger and granddaughter Michelle sadly predeceased her this year. Born in Manitoba and moved to Maillardville, Lucille and Roger met in 1949, fell in love and stayed in love for 58 years. Always ready to help others, and very active in her community, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, the Red Cross and the French Scout and Girl Guide Assoc. to name a few. Lucille knew how to make life fun, and kept in touch with her extensive family and friends. Her kindness was far reaching and touched so many. With never a minute to waste, she was famous for her bread and beautiful quilts. Lucille was an example of faith, strength, generosity and love. Lucille your life has made a difference and you were so loved. Still loved. Prayers at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 8th and a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 9th at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 315 Walker Street in Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mission Search and Rescue: P.O. Box 20003, RPO Station Mission Hills, Mission BC, V2V 7P8 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation with thanks.
