TOWN, Margaret Mary (nee Bain)

Margaret was born October 6, 1916 in Brockville, Ontario to Wallace and Margaret Bain. She passed away on April 20, 2010 in Maple Ridge, B.C. Margaret will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family: husband Bert, daughter Judy (Wayne deceased) Hankey, grandchildren Darryl (Susan) and Darren (Yvette) and great-grandchildren Gabrielle and Tristan. Always known for her generosity, kindness, strength, love of life, learning and family. Margaret's professional career as a church worker and social worker revolved around helping others; especially with those less fortunate, ill and lonely. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital and Baillie House who provided wonderful care to Margaret in her last days. At her request, a private family Celebration of Life Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or Union Gospel Mission would be appreciated.
