JOHNSTONE ~ Marjorie Lamond

Of Maple Ridge, born in Gadsby, Alberta April 19, 1922 - died peacefully with her family at her side at Ridge Meadows Hospital on February 27th. Predeceased by her husband Larry, Marge's life is celebrated by her sister Edith Jackson in England, her daughters Marianne (Brad) Walker, Tricia (Manfred) Wagner; grandson Christopher (Danika) Thomas, granddaughter Carrie (Shaun Kennedy), great granddaughter Taylor Kennedy, sister-in-law Dot (Leo) Desjardins, many nieces and nephews and her 'collection' of very dear friends, especially Cathy Jolleys and Gail Springer. Mom will always be remembered for her great sense of humour, her loyalty and her passion for life! Having served in WWII in the Air Force, Marge was always very involved with the Legion and thoroughly enjoyed her outings with the ladies at the Meat Draw. Her motto was 'Life is for the Living' so please help us celebrate Marge's life on Sunday, March 5th at the Maple Ridge Royal Canadian Legion, at 11:00am (address below). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #88, 12101 - 224th Street, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 6B7.

You will always be in our hearts… Ping Ping Mom
