1923 – 2005
Mary’s family are heartbroken to announce her passing on Monday, May 23rd after a lengthy struggle with vascular dementia. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 39 years Bill, her son Gary, age 17, sisters Margaret, Isobel, Betty and brother Dan. Leaving to mourn her loss are daughters Gloria Edgar of Surrey, Gail (Bob) Jones of Maple Ridge and son Jim (Leslie)Edgar of Surrey. She will always be loved and remembered by her four grandchildren Jennifer, Melissa, Laura and Gary. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Kevin Sommi and the staff of Gardenview (formerly Creekside) at Maple Ridge Hospital. The superb professional treatment, compassion, love and gentleness as well as family support will never be forgotten. Also a special thank you to Rev. Dennis Morgan, a long time family friend who performed a private family “Service of Remembrance” at the home of daughter Gail and husband Bob. Her home was her castle and her family was her heart. We all will love you forever! We wish to thank all our friends for the lovely flowers, cards and precious support.
