HIGHAM (Magnell)- Maureen Mayme
July 3, 1946 ~ October 8, 2007
Maureen passed away on October 8th, at 7:30 P.M. after a 3 month battle with leukemia. She died with her husband Glen, her brother Jack (Carolynn), and Sharon by her side. She will be remembered and missed by her husband Glen, her children Sandra and John (Kim), her grandchildren Elizabeth and Cheyenne, and many family members and wonderful friends. She will be remembered for her strength, love and kindness to all. We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Ian Hyams and staff, Dr. Wendy Lam, the doctors and nurses at the BMT ward of VGH and a special thank you for the care and compassion from the nursing staff in the ICU at RMH. In lieu of flowers, donations to Childrens Hospital Foundation or the Leukemia Society please. Celebration of Life will be held October 20th at MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn’s), 11969-216th Street at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Danny Griffin will be officiating.
