It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Predeceased by his daughter Diana in December 2004. Peter is survived by his loving wife Mary, of 60 years, two daughters Barbara (Lynn) Holmes of Washington State and Maureen (Jim) Wilkie of Maple Ridge. He will also be missed by his brother William of Edmonton and many nephews and nieces. A special thanks to the many friends and neighbors for their care and compassion. Peter will always be remembered for his unwavering love of God, his devotion to his family and his passion for nature. The Babiy family would like to thank the dedicated nursing staff at The Ridge Meadows Hospital for their kindness, devotion and care throughout the years. Our beloved father passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord. A
