SPENCER, MILDRED WINNIFRED (nee Longman)
passed away Sat., Nov 12, 2005 aged 82, in Maple Ridge, B.C.
A Lt. General's Medal Winner, Mildred went on to take a degree in Dietetics and established a successful career long before such things were approved of. She set it all aside to raise a family. She loved animals and was an outstanding gardener. She pursued an interest in English history, and traveled there extensively. Mildred also ran a small business by herself for ten years. She gave freely to many charities. She will be sorely missed by family and many friends. An open house will be held at the family home on Sunday, Nov 20 from 1:00 - 5 pm.
