Rae HAYWARD

HAYWARD, RAE NELSON of Lake Country, passed away suddenly at the

age of 82 on Sunday, June 19th, 2005. He is predeceased by his brothers: Hugh, Percy and Jim. He is survived by his brothers: Byron, Russ and Cecil and his sisters Gene and Julia; his son Robert of Lake Country and daughter Sharon (Eric) Clark of Maple Ridge; grandchildren: Laura (Peter), Cheri (Brian), Kevin (Tara), Angela (Tom), Vanessa (Shawn) and Irene; and great-grandchildren: Breanna, Liam, Christopher, Carolyn, Adam and Aaron. Rae was born in Unity, Saskatchewan. He served in the Second World War and has been a devoted Legionnaire for over 50 years. Rae liked golf, curling and playing the bagpipes. He was full of good humour and was like by everyone he met. Thanks to his friends, Marley Langille and Bert Paulson, he was able to live his final days in the privacy of his own apartment. The funeral service will be held at the Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, B.C. on Monday, June 27th, 2005 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Abby Caillaud Trust Fund. Lang mae yee lum reek.
