STANT, Raymond Ross Howard,
August 31, 1923 -July 24, 2005
Survived by Wife Mildred, Son Brian (Tammy) and grandson Brent, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Father John, Mother Mary, brothers William and Daniel, sisters Charlotte and Bernice. Ray was born in Cumberland, B.C. the youngest child of pioneer residents. He attended Jericho School for the Deaf in Vancouver, B.C. and had many friends there. Ray was a very outgoing person who had friends wherever he went. Ray was a long time member of the Eagles and enjoyed the brotherhood he shared with its members. He was a landscaper by trade and enjoyed being outdoors a great deal, whether he was fishing or camping or attending the annual Corn Party he was always surrounded by friends. His kindness and sharing will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 2:00P.M. at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel 11765 224th Street, Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray's memory to the Council of the Blind, Ridge Meadows Chapter.
