MITCHELL ~ Roy Charles
Born July 28, 1931 in North Battleford, Sask. to July 25, 2006 in Maple Ridge. After a courageous battle with cancer, Roy peacefully passed away with his family by his bedside. Predeceased by his infant son Bruce in 1954 and brother Douglas in 1994. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Greta; son Rick (Michelle); daughter Shelley (Tom); brothers Jack and Bill and his dear grandchildren Carly, Rachel, Nikki, Jake and Cole, who will miss their Papa and will keep him in their hearts forever.
Roy was an active Mason over the years. He loved his yard and gardening. He loved to go watch his grandchildren play their sports. Roy and Greta traveled to his favourite spot at the homestead in Saskatchewan, but he was more content just being at home with his family.
