GAMBLING, Sadie May (Smith)
December 1st, 1924 - April 2nd , 2017
Sadie passed away peacefully in Ridge Meadows Hospital with family by her side. Born in Tonypandy, Wales, having lived much of her life in Weston Super-Mare, England.
Immigrated to Canada with her husband Gordon Gambling and children in 1972, residing her years in Port Coquitlam & Pitt Meadows. Married to Gordon Gambling for 38 years, widowed in 1981, fortunate to find love again with George Francis for over 30 years, he passed away Sept. 2016. Sadie will be greatly missed and always loved, her memory lives on with her 6 children, Clive, Colin (Rochelle), David (Kimberley), Christopher (Helen) & Suzanne, predeceased by her first born Christine; step son Steve Francis (Kim), 9 grandchildren, Kristi (Scott), Jeffrey, Mark (Casey), Rhys (Karly), Samantha, Jake, Sarah (AJ), Sean and Carwyn, 4 great-grandchildren Sophia, Weston, Ava, Ronan with 2 others waiting to arrive August 2017. Sadie will be missed by her sister Celia (Dave) Ellis , sister-in-law Sylvia Smith ,many nieces and nephews in England & Wales. Sadie was a woman of great strength, patience, understanding, generosity and love, her door was always open and welcoming to all.
She will remain in our hearts and always loved.
