DAY, Shirley Anne
April 5, 1926 ~ August 17, 2006
Passed away peacefully in Ridge Meadows Hospital with her family by her side Aug. 17th 2006. Shirley was born on April 5th ,1926 in Winnipeg , Manitoba, and was predeceased by her daughter Paula in 2002 and late husband Craig in 1989. She is survived by her devoted, loving husband Roy, her son David, and 3 step- daughters, Carole (Frank), Janette (Peter) and Michelle (Sean).
Shirley's warm and loving ways will be sadly missed by all who knew her. "Sgt. Mother's" warmth and wisdom will be especially missed by her and Roy's friends in the Archery community.
No service by request. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006 between noon and 4 pm at their home. If any so desire, in lieu of flowers donations to the Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
