Shirley Kay (Danyluik)

February 24, 1937 ~ August 3, 2008

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley, beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, baba, da’ baba’s and friend. Shirley passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Shirley was born in Endevour, Saskatchewan and moved to Moose Jaw where she met and married the love of her life of 52 years, Frankland. Shirley resided with her family in Winnipeg, Port Coquitlam and settled in Pitt Meadows for the last 36 years. Shirley is survived by her mother, Pauli Holden, her husband, Frankland, her children, Paula (Randy), Farrell (Susan), Mitchell (Sandra), Desiree (Hans), sister-in-law, Cathleen McDonald and recently found half sister Annabelle Hollowink. Shirley was Baba to her ten grandchildren, Alexandria (Kevin), Joscelyn (Brent), Michael, Shayla, Amy, Zachary, Jacob, Lescia, Gracie and Cassidy. Shirley was Da’ Baba’s to her three great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Holden and Reese. A friend to many, all were welcome and the coffee was always on. We will miss your hugs, your love, your laughter, our long talks, but most of all you. We will see you in the garden and hear you in “our” songs.
