Mc NICOL Sinclair (Jock) (Scotty)
Scotty was born April 11 1927 in Avondale, Lanarkshire, Scotland and passed away April 18, 2009 in Maple Ridge. He came overseas settling in Vancouver in 1957 later moving to Maple Ridge in 1994. He is survived by his devoted daughter Heather (Larry) Walker, grandson Logan, brothers David and Jimmy and several nieces and nephews. Scotty was predeceased by his loving wife Jennie in 1986, a sister Ella, a brother Daniel and many friends. He was a farmer, a miner, a rock and tunnel worker, and a member of the Labourers Union for over 50 years. Scotty liked to garden and to travel. His greatest joy was his only grandson who could make Grampa’s blue eyes twinkle. He lived a great life and will be forever missed. A Celebration of Life for Scotty will be held on Sunday May 3rd at the Maple Ridge Golf Course from 2.30pm – 5.00 pm.
