McCAMON ~ Susan
Many of you may have had the opportunity to meet Susan McCamon who was an elementary school counsellor in Maple Ridge / Pitt Meadows for at least 15 years. Sadly Susan passed away at her home in Deep Bay, BC on August 14, 2006. Born in Calgary, Susan filled her life with love and sought that alone in return.
Her career was spent helping children in Saskatoon and then in Maple Ridge. Susan was dedicated to helping and to contributing to the well-being of those around her. She never gave up on anyone and always believed in the path forward.
Susan was a lover of the natural world. Her Irish Setters, love of the ocean, natural beauty of our world and The Arts were an inspiration to her. Susan was a woman of generosity, inner strength and outward beauty, willing to risk and try new things.
In honour of Susan McCamon there will be a " Celebration of Life" held at 2pm on October 1st , 2006 at The Unitarian Church of Vancouver, 949 West 49th Avenue ( at Oak Street) Vancouver BC. her friends and colleagues are invited to attend.
