Vina Lens nee: Jensen
Born June 29, 1917
passed away December 7, 2006.
Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, the oldest of 11 children. Vi worked throughout B.C., the prairies and Alaska, spending 15 years at Riverview Hospital. In her later years she was known for her outstanding photography and was an avid member of the Maple Ridge Camera Club.
Predeceased by her grandson Robbie Bedard in 2004, husband John Lenz 1971. She will be greatly missed by her close friends Rev. Heather Quinney - Wright/Ellwood and Lesley
Goldsby/Larry. Survived by her Daughter Joan/Peter Saunders, grandson Larry Bedard; Buffalo Creek, B.C. Sisters: Nadine, Leona and Jean and Brother: Gordon.
Many Thanks to the wonderful staff at Zion Park Manor, Surrey for the excellent care Vi received these past months.
A celebration of Vi's life will be held in January 2007 at the One Way Club, Maple Ridge. Anyone wishing to do so may make a donation in her memory to the Salvation Army or C.N.I.B. Dogs for the blind.
