HAND- VIOLET YVONNE ALEXA - b. April 28, 1931 in Vancouver, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 4, 2005 in the arms of her children. Predeceased by her Mom and Dad, son David, granddaughter Angela and her husband and soul mate Bud in 2003. Survived by her son Wayne, his wife Freddie, daughter Teresa, grand and great grandchildren, sisters Margaret and Elsie (Harold), all her beloved "critters on the funny-farm" and many friends. Vi was a vibrant, active person, who spent most of her life helping others - her favorite pastime. The family would like to thank Drs. Walton, Auerspberg and Heed for their dedication and excellent care over the years as well as the staff at Maple Ridge Hospital, 3 west for their compassionate care during her final days. At her request, cremation, followed by a Memorial Service to be held at Garden Hill Funeral Home at 1:00pm Wednesday the 9th of March 2005. Pastor Jim Poelzer officiating.
