Passed way peacefully at the Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge. He will be greatly missed and remembered by his wife Gerda, family and friends in Duesseldorf, Germany, Edmonton and Maple Ridge. Many thanks to the staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital for their care and kindness to the family, especially Dr. M. Swift. In lieu of flowers, donations to Covenant House (575 Drake Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 4K8) in memoriam would be greatly appreciated. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 1 pm, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 22568 - 121st Ave, Maple Ridge, Father Richard Au officiating. Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 2 at 7pm, also at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
