SCHAFFNER ~ Willi (Bill)
Passed away suddenly on May 23, 2008 at the age of 75. Willi was a loving husband to his wife of 47 years, Kathleen, and a devoted father to his daughter Ruth (Jim) and son David (Cathy). He took great pleasure in being Granddad to Anthony, Samantha, Caroline and Sydney and Great-Granddad to Harmony. Bill also leaves behind family in both Calgary and England. He was born in Poland and moved to Canada from Germany in 1952. He married Kathy in Vancouver in 1961 and lived in Maple Ridge since 1969. Willi was a gentle, hard-working, kind spirited man that was always there to lend a hand. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Remembrance service to be held Wednesday, May 28, at 2:30 pm at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969 - 216 St, Maple Ridge, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
