ROBINSON

William Arthur "Robin

Feb. 23 1949 ~ April 27 2007

"He was first a farmer who loved to watch his fields and family grow".

With solemn joy, we announce that Robin's prayer was answered as he gently passed from the arms of those who loved him best on earth to those who awaited him in heaven; his father, Bill Robinson, father-in-law, Klass Reitsma, daughter Aimee, niece Hayley, brother-in-law Alan Downes and many others.

Though many felt his earthly successes to be significant, he believed his greatest accomplishments were his commitment to renewing an intimate personal relationship with his Lord Jesus Christ and his total peaceful surrender to the will of God in the final days of his life.

His loving wife of 36 years, Jan, (nee Reitsma), his adoring children, Billy, Julie and Dwayne, Liana, and his cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Aimee and Calvin Vanderkooi look forward with complete peace and faith to seeing him again. He will be profoundly missed by his mother, Grace Robinson, and his devoted brothers and business partners, Stanley, Stewart, Stephen, Wesley and Daniel. He was a huge part of the lives of the extended Haynes/ Robinson families and his wife's family, especially his mother-in-law, Helen Reitsma and a favorite uncle & boss of many Robinson & Reitsma nieces and nephews.

A celebration of God's faithfulness to Robin and his family will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday May 4th, at Maple Ridge Baptist church (222nd & Lougheed Hwy.). Casual or western attire is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New View Society (Mental Health), Port Coquitlam, or the Salvation Army Caring Place, Maple Ridge.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Nicola Macpherson for her gracious, compassionate care of Robin and to the Home Care nurses, (especially Michelline, Amanda and Val) all of whom supported us as we cared for him at home.

"The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord." Job 1:21
