MLA not serving all constituents

Re: MLA Hawes missing the obvious (Letters, Oct. 13)
I think Diana Williams has missed the point.
My NDP MLA, Michael Sather (Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge), does not do a good job of representing non-NDP constituents in his riding.
That's why we turn to Liberal MLA Randy Hawes (Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows).
In my experience, Mr. Hawes and his office staff were careful to not get involved until Mr. Sather's office had signed off on his intentions to do anything more for our family.
Mr. Sather gave up on our cause. Mr. Hawes was then able to do for us what Sather did not.
In my opinion, most of Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge constituents are poorly represented by our current MLA.
