Faith is personal experience
Editor, the News:
Re; Faith that sun will rise is experience (Letters, Nov. 3).
My faith in a loving, omniscient, omnipotent and omnibenevolent God actually is one of experience, and I'd like to see Gunter Jaenicke provide any evidence to prove that it is not.
With all due respect, my memories of any letters written by Mr. Jaenicke are just as intolerant, demanding and insulting as anyone he persistently accuses of religious intolerance.
Like the famous Rickard Dawkins, Mr. Jaenicke demands proof, when he can only provide theories.
Faith is one of personal, reasonable experience.
Try all you want, you can't prove my own experience wrong.
