I am an employee at a local store and it has been hard on all of us. We have to listen as some customers verbally abuse us, as if the prices are our fault. Most choose not to listen as we try to explain the reasons for the price differences and what our owners are doing to try to keep our customers. We do have many loyal customers who choose to shop locally and we really appreciate them and their kind words and support. I love my job and want to keep it. It was so great to read your words and have the things I have been thinking expressed so well.
