A 350-home subdivision is proposed for land at the east end of the Haney Bypass.

Re: Maple Ridge moving ahead with new 350-home subdivision (The News, May 31).

Why do we need to build on every green space?

Doesn’t Maple Ridge have enough problems with traffic?

What does the developer mean the proposed area is ‘transit orientated’? Our bus system sucks.

More houses, more cars, and no decent shopping in our area. Hospital and schools already overcrowded. What a shame.

The city planning department is a joke.

Thanks a lot for ruining our greenspace.
