Bridge tolls not right
Editor, The News:
Can someone explain to me how come the more affluent crowd from Vancouver can drive up to Whistler for free and for fun on that beautiful highway we just built for them and the working folk that need to get to work across the bridge have to pay a toll?
Something is not quite right with that picture. I would suggest opening up the bridge for free for and see traffic increase substantially on Golden Ears and maybe relieve the one on the Port Mann.
Business areas in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows would benefit and we might even create more jobs.
