Move Lions to Surrey

Editor, The News,

Re: Build it, and they will come (Fan Nation, Dec. 5)

I'm convinced, start the project management team tomorrow.

Moving the B.C. Lions to Surrey will give the team tenfold more respect than it has now.

The Lions now are recognized across the country as the team that dominates during the regular season, but come crunch time fails to live up to it pre-developed expectations.

As usual, the Lions clean up the regular season awards, but come home without the most important of all.

The winningest team in regular season for the past five years without a close contender, yet only one grey cup to show for it.

Bring on the diehards - Lion pride starts in Surrey!
