Let’s celebrate the fact that we can actually ‘bell the fat cats’ in ICBC. It sure as heck couldn’t happen if automobile insurance were returned to private hands.
As for Hydro, folks might remember that a big ‘C’ conservative Social Credit premier W.A.C. Bennett nationalized B.C. Electric, a private company, because it would not invest in the power generation that a surging B.C. economy would require.
Do we now want private power suppliers selling us electricity at ‘inflated’ prices? Sorry, I forgot, that has already happened.
Don’t go to sleep on these matters neighbors.
