‘Do as I say, not as I do’
Editor, The News:
Let me get this right. Organized bicycle groups want me, as a taxpayer, to pay for bike lanes etc., yet they don’t want to set a great example by wearing helmets.
In another area, nurses want me, as a taxpayer, to keep raising their pay, almost on a weekly basis, yet do not want to show respect and care for their patients during flu season by wearing protective face coverings.
The members of these same groups disrespect politicians for not showing care or leadership.
The old `do as I say, not as I do’ at work.
