Steep property value drop

Re: Local property values stable (The News, Jan. 4).
I wanted to let you know that, in Maple Ridge, some property values (and I’m imagining we are not alone) are down sharply.
We live in a townhouse complex just off of Cottonwood Drive and Dewdney Trunk Road, and our assessed value dropped $23,000, or nine per cent.
The “minimal changes” that John Green has said we will see, are anything but minimal.
