Caring neighbours
Editor, The News:
My grandson broke a major bone in his leg recently.
He lay on the road in the dark for a considerable time.
The surrounding neighbors were wonderful. They brought blankets and a heater and blocked off the road to traffic. They comforted him and my daughter, and I just want to thank them for their care and concern. They epitomized the kindness of strangers.
