Where are all the jobs in B.C.?

The citizens of B.C. have seen millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded advertisements in the past few months.

Editor, The News:

The citizens of B.C. have seen millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded advertisements in the past few months.

We have been told over and over about the wonderful B.C. Jobs Plan the Liberal government has developed, but what is the reality?

Statistics Canada has released its data for the year 2012 and it is a real eye-opener.

Far from a successful jobs plan, B.C. ranks eighth in Canada in job production.

Only two Maritime provinces, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, rank below B.C.

Newfoundland increased its jobs by 3.7 percent, Saskatchewan by 2.7 per cent, Alberta by 2.8 per cent, and B.C. by a lowly 0.8 per cent.

After spending millions of our tax dollars,  we are number eight out of 10.

We will see lots of advertising by all political parties over the next few months, but to see these blatant political advertisements paid for by taxpayers is disgusting.

Think about all the good things that could have been done with this money.

Shame on the Liberal government for wasting our precious tax dollars on these advertisements.
