Ridge jr. lax girls fall to PoCo
The Ridge Meadows Burrards junior girls’ lacrosse squad were edged 4-3 by Port Coquitlam on the road on Tuesday. Scoring for the Burrards were Jessica Baker, Katy Clark, and Haley Cridland, while Donna Blaszak picked up a pair of assists. Brianna Tweedie and Andrea Richmond also picked up helpers.
In mini-tyke action, the Ridge Meadows 1 team faced Ridge Meadows 5 at the Mission Arena on Saturday in the first game of the season for both teams.
Team 5 was led by Logan Hamilton, who provided plenty of energy, while Cody Bateson was strong in net. Team 1 was led by rookie, Maxim Roussel and sophomore Taylor Pukesh.
