Seniors curling league readies for fall session
Curling is back, and seniors’ 55 and over are being invited to participate in the Golden Ears Winter Club’s Seniors League.
The league begins Oct. 1, and takes place every Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m.
All new curlers, regardless of ability, are welcome, as the league emphasizes fun, friendly competition, and exercise. Clinics are also available to learn the game and stick curling is an option. Preseason clinics begin Sept. 16 for beginners and intermediates and instruction is available.
Anyone interested can phone Bob Asher to register at 604-466-4286 or register at GEWC this Saturday or Sunday, Sept. 15 and 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
