Junior B Flames home opener this Friday at Planet Ice
The Ridge Meadows Flames were snuffed 5-1 by the Grandview Steelers, Sunday night in Burnaby, in their final exhibition game of the preseason.
The loss brings the local junior B hockey team to a record of three wins, two losses and a tie in preseason action this year.
The Flames play their first game of the regular season tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 12) against the Aldergrove Kodiaks on the road.
The Flames return to Planet Ice in Maple Ridge for their home opener this Friday, Sept. 14, against the Mission City Outlaws. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
