Paddler racing in Montreal

This will be a big weekend for competitive paddler Brian Malfesi.

The Canadian sprint canoe and kayak team trials will take place in Montréal, and 157 of the fastest paddlers from clubs across Canada will be vying for spots on National Teams.

The trials will determine selection to the World Cup tour team and Under-23 tour team. The results will also impact Sport Canada carding selection.
