Taylor De Adder scored 37 points at the Maple Ridge Ramblers remained undefeated in league play Thursday, silencing the Thomas Haney Thunder with a 71-17 win.

De Adder scored on 18 of 23 field goal attempts and had three assists, four rebounds and 11 steals.

"Her dominating defense led to a lot of lay ups," said Don Herman, coach of the Grade 8 girls' basketball team.

Aly Heppner scored 16 points against Thomas Haney, while Kaila Barteski added eight. Kirsten Senchyna, Paige Bell and Emily Morley also had strong games for the Ramblers, 4-0 in league play and 15-0 overall, including two tournament wins.

Ridge was to play the Walnut Grove Gators on Friday.
