Shorts: Ridge minor hockey alum taken in WHL draft

Two Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association alumni were taken in Thursday’s Western Hockey League bantam draft.

Brett Didyk, a 5’11, 170-pound right-winger for the Burnaby Winter Club Bruins this past season, was taken in the fourth round, 83rd overall by the Medicine Hat Tigers.
