The 2014 Fraser Valley Royals won the Royal Cup over the weekend defeating the Edgy Islanders in the finals 2-0.

Johnathan Rees and Hayden Delorme scored for the Royals while Jeffrey Sunshine got his second shutout in a row with the win.

Hunor Torzsok was named Tournament MVP and played extremely well during the weekend.

The Royals defeated the EHS Knights 4-3, Interior Selects 6-1, and Edgy Islanders 5-0 in round robin play.  In the playoffs the Royals defeated the Interior Selects 5-1 before winning the championship game 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The team was powered by Bobby Russell, Conner Jollymore, Dylan Tonks, Hunor Torzsok, Jackson O’Brien, Jakob Mainhout, Jonathan Rees, Jordan Shaw, Kenny Blackman, Riley Lambert, Sean McCloskey, Justin Hargrave, Emmett Garrett, Hayden Delorme, Sean Sidhu, Zack Wismer, Jeffrey Sunshine, and Matteo Petrelli.
