Sharp shooting at North American Indigenous Games

Local marksman Matthew Britton will be bringing back medals from the North American Indigenous Games held in Regina, Saskatchewan last week.

Britton won two gold medals and a silver in the rifle shooting competition. He won silver in prone position shooting, and gold in 3P and overrall.

He is a member of the local air cadets 583 Coronation Squadron.

His rifle team won 19 of a possible 24, medals which helped Team BC win the overall medal count with 160 medals. Saskatchewan placed second with 159.  Team BC also won the John Fletcher Spirit Award for sportsmanship.
