Hockey: Peewee Rustlers win gold banner

The Ridge Meadows peewee C4 team won the Fraser Valley North, gold division playoff banner last week, defeating Coquitlam in the final 3-2 in Pitt Meadows.

The Rustlers went 7-0-2 in the playoffs.

Players include: Taylor Pukesh, Tyson Segarty, Justin Cardas, Gage Quesnel, Greyson Beggs, Lukas Hyson, Emilio Carreras, Declan O’Donovan, Truman Johnson, Jack Causey, Jack Kask, Josh Smith, Kaiden Burwell, Logan Burwell. Carson Lammi and Jordan Pavlakovich,.

The Rustlers were coached by Mark Cardas, Shane Grace, Kevin Segarty, Steve Pukesh.

 

Atoms win white banner

The Ridge Meadows atom C4 team won the white playoff banner, defeating the Port Moody C1 Panthers 5-2 in the final.

Clayton Catherwood scored three times for the Rustlers in the banner game.

The Rustlers went 9-0 in the playoffs, outscoring opponents 59-15.

Members of the team: Catherwood, Callum Ford, Gavin Robbie, Jayden Purewal, Juno Colburn, Kaden Urquhart, Karson Fawcett, Kian Khakbaznejad, Liam O’Donovan, Logan Allan, Logan Maxwell, Markus Toolsie-Worsnup, Nathaniel Bromilow, Noah Delorme, Nolan Villeneuve and Sean Harty.
