Brendan Semchuk is a third-year winger with the Vancouver Giants.

In 27 games this season, the 18-year-old has seven goals and 16 points, and he is just one goal and four points away from matching last year’s eight goals and 20 points in 63 games.

The six-foot, 187-pound forward was a first round pick out of Kamloops of the Giants in the 2010 bantam draft, going 10th overall. And prior to this season, he attended training camp with the Washington Capitals.

He recently sat down with Langley Times sports reporter Gary Ahuja to talk about his interests on and off the ice.
