Langley hosting Mutts at McLeod

$5 admission for dogs will be donated to Paws for Hope for WFC2 match in Langley

Who let the dogs out?

It was the Vancouver Whitecaps FC2 fans, of course.

Fans are invited to bring their dogs to this Sunday’s WFC2 game at McLeod Athletic Park as part of Mutts at McLeod. The dogs must remain on leash during the game and fans will be permitted in-and-out priviledges.

WFC2 is taking on Real Monarchs SLC in United Soccer League action.

There will also be a designated ‘no dogs’ section at the game.

And for fans wanting to bring their dogs to the match, the soccer club has a few requirements:

  • The dogs must be friendly and not excessively aggressive or fearful around other dogs or people.
  • Up to date on their rabies vaccinations (a waiver must be signed stating that vaccinations from a licensed veteranarian are current).
  • Well behaved while on a leash.
  • And any water brought for the dog must be in a sealed bottle as unsealed bottles will not be permitted in the venue.

The dogs do require a ticket to watch the match, but the $5 attendance fee will be donated to for Hope.

And for fans who are bringing their pet, they are required to check-in with their waiver form at the Mutts at McLeod tent outside the main gate at McLeod Athletic Park. Check-in will be open 30 minutes prior to game time.
