The Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows News is running its 17th annual A-List contest, to celebrate what's great about the two cities that make up Ridge Meadows.
People can take part by voting for many of their local favourites – from their preferred beer and wine store, florist, local singer, deli, local sporting event, charity event, and a huge number of other categories.
Those who cast their votes will have a chance to win a draw for $500 worth of gift cards to Downtown Maple Ridge stores.
“The News publishes the A-List every year, to foster a sense of community pride in all the great things that Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows have to offer, whether it’s a wonderful restaurant, a caring family doctor, or a beautiful view,” said publisher Karen Murtagh.
“There are many categories, and your votes help us celebrate Ridge Meadows in every aspect.”
Voting is easy, and takes place online, at mapleridgenews.com under the contests section. Each contestant can make one entry per day, per category. Voters must be 19 or older.
Voting will take place all summer, ending on Sept. 3, and the winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
