After serving with the Tri-Cities chamber of commerce for three years, Andrea Madden is now with Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Chamber of Commerce.
Madden has been named new executive-director, after the departure of Jesse Sidhu.
As the main staff contact for the chamber, Madden will focus on strengthening and building the chamber.
According to a chamber news release, Madden understands the unique needs of the chamber membership and is passionate about promoting sustainable business activities.
She has experience in leadership, special events, training and development.
“She brings the right mix of experience, skills and passion to help meet these objectives and we are confident we chose the best candidate to lead the chamber for many years ahead,” said chamber vice-president Ray Boogaards.
Madden said the chamber can play a key role supporting local businesses. “I invite anyone looking for new opportunities to grow their business and be active in the community, to join us.”
